Escaping is soon out of the question as the hot high priest won’t take his eyes off me. In charge of leading me and the other two Elemental brides to be presented to the prince, I have felt his gaze since the ceremony, when the Elemental God chose me. But as much interest as he is showing, he will also be the one putting the knife to my throat when the time comes.
