Horror movie director José is adrift in a sea of doubt and drugs. As his belated second feature nears completion, his reclusive bubble is popped by two events: a sudden reappearance from an ex-girlfriend and a package from past acquaintance Pedro: a reel of Super-8 film, an audiotape, and a door key. From there, the boundaries of time, space, and sexuality are erased as José is once more sucked into Pedro’s vampiric orbit. After burying one of his deceased accompolices in the backyard, Simon is eerily haunted by images of of violence and horror from his lamentable past. Combining experimental visuals with camp flair, this is a crackpot time capsule featuring Monty Python-esque animation, someone named Ron Cheney, Jr., and, at the end, “a brief summary of the movie for those who wish to relive its magic moments.”

Honeymoon Of Terror: An early dreamscape from director Peter Perry (My Tale Is Hot), Honeymoon Of Terror (aka Ecstacy On Lovers’ Island) is a moody mash-up of horror chills and nudie thrills that feels like a Looney Tunes cartoon made for adults. Frank and Marion are newlyweds who embark on their honeymoon to Thunder Island, only to run afoul of a psychotic, club-footed lumberjack with a lust for violence!

A masked maniac with a penchant for a horror-themed board game is playing his own twisted game with the women of a small American town. Each time the dice is rolled, another victim meets a grisly end. Returning home to mourn the death of her murdered sister, Keegan (Jo Ann Harris) befriends local cop Roger and oddball cinema projectionist Billy (Railsback) – but soon finds herself in the killer’s sights.

Originally entitled Who Fell Asleep, Deadly Games is an intriguing early ’80s slasher oddity which benefits from focusing as much on the development of its female-led cast as it does on its scenes of stalking and slashing. The films footage was found in 2013 and documents the start of a deadly new virus. They find the virus has infected the workers that are displaying extreme violent behaviour.
