A ravenous, predatory creature from deep space arrives on Earth and unleashes its insatiable appetite for flesh and blood on an unsuspecting, seaside town. Assigned by his superiors to hunt down the creature, former starship commander David Riggs recruits the assistance of a reluctant psychic investigator named Sandra Lynn, who’s been haunted by gruesome, clairvoyant visions of the monster savagely mutilating the towns’ local teenagers. When her innocent young daughter is killed, Sandra tracks the beast to its underwater lair in a kamikaze attempt to detonate a thermonuclear termination device and obliterate the creature (and herself) once and for all.
