Following a well-needed two-year hiatus, the erudite Dr. Francis B. Gröss returns to further ponder and expose the mysteries of death. Hardly content with his initial morbid surveys of the forbidden, rarely discussed topic of how life ends, he pushes further to show nature’s wintry grasp on life, how finality arrives in the boxing ring, and other lethal sights so shockingly primal they beg to be seen. Enthusiastically expanding his sweeping investigations on crime and human atrocities, Gröss paints a shattering and unparalleled portrait of mortality.
