In “Act Break,” struggling playwright Maury Winkler (James Coco) uses an ancient relic to make a single wish. In “The Burning Man,” a woman (Piper Laurie) and her nephew (Andre Gower) pick up a crazed hitchhiker (Roberts Blossom) who warns of supernatural evils ahead. In “Dealer’s Choice,” a group of friends (Morgan Freeman, M. Emmet Walsh, Garrett Morris, Barney Martin) playing poker suspect that their new guest (Dan Hedaya) is the Devil.
