In “Her Pilgrim Soul,” two scientists (Kristoffer Tabori, Gary Cole) create a holographic projector that shows something completely unexpected: the reincarnated soul of a young girl (Danica McKellar). In “I of Newton,” a professor (Sherman Hemsley) idly says he would sell his soul to solve a difficult math problem, and a demon (Ron Glass) shows up to collect.
