AstralShift’s Eerie Fairy-Tale Mansion Finally Opens Its Doors to Console Players
The gothic horror RPG Pocket Mirror ~ GoldenerTraum has made the leap to consoles and is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, as first reported by Gematsu. Publisher KOMODO is handling the console release with developers AstralShift and VisuStella, and the game sells for $19.99 / £15.99 / €19.99.
Players take control of a young girl with a foggy past who comes to in a strange, unsettling mansion with nothing but her pocket mirror. Recovering her lost memories means wandering warped halls and rooms, working through puzzles, crossing paths with a cast of peculiar characters and slowly uncovering the truth about who she is and the sinister forces at work around her.
Built around dreamlike visuals, a haunting score and a story that blurs the line between dream and reality, the game had been a PC exclusive since it arrived on Steam on May 19, 2023. This release marks the first time console players can step through the mirror.
