This week on our Chanber of Horrors we brought Matt Riddle to the infamous Indiana State Sanatorium. Once a tuberculosis quarantine facility, later turned into a psychiatric hospital. However some say the place wasn’t just for healing. Experimental treatments, questionable procedures, and a rising death toll turned the building into something far darker. Patients reportedly vanished from records, and staff claimed to hear coughing echoing through empty corridors long after wards were sealed shut. By the time it closed, locals believed the suffering had soaked into the walls themselves.
Now, decades later, the sanatorium stands rotting with its peeling paint and rusted beds left behind like a warning. People who’ve explored it claim they’ve seen figures in the windows, heard footsteps pacing behind them, and felt something watching.
