In “Gramma,” young Georgie (Barret Oliver) is left alone to look after the ailing grandmother he fears. In “Personal Demons,” veteran television screenwriter Rockne S. O’Bannon (Martin Balsam) is plagued by small creatures in his daily life. In “Cold Reading,” the producer of a 1940s radio show (Dick Shawn), a stickler for realistic sound effects, inadvertently causes the sources of the sounds to materialize in the studio.
