Outlaws, Dark Magic and a Ghost Train Head to Consoles After Four Years on PC
The occult Western tactics sequel Hard West II finally has a console date. Publisher Klabater and developer Ice Code Games will launch the game for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on November 10, Gematsu reported Thursday, bringing the 2022 Steam release to living-room hardware.
Players step into the boots of legendary outlaw Gin Carter as he and his posse chase a mysterious Ghost Train across a Weird West packed with demons, witchcraft and hard choices. Turn-based shootouts unfold in shifting arenas, from horseback chases to train holdups, while a Bravado system rewards stylish kill chains with extra action points and poker-hand card builds power up a crew of gunslingers, witches and other supernatural misfits.
First released on PC via Steam on August 4, 2022, the sequel leans into “The Good, the Bad, and the Undead” storytelling, mixing frontier folklore with occult horror. Console players will get the full posse-management campaign when it arrives next week.
