Geiger and Redcoat Finally Collide, and a Bone-Chilling New Villain Named Organgrinder Tags Along
Ghost Machine’s Unnamed Universe is about to smash its biggest toys together. Image Comics announced Radioactive Revolution, the imprint’s first full crossover, from Geoff Johns, Gary Frank and Bryan Hitch, with colorist Brad Anderson and letterer Rob Leigh.
The extra-length 40-page story finally puts glowing antihero Tariq Geiger in the same frame as immortal mercenary Simon Pure, better known as Redcoat — a collision Johns says the creative team has been building toward since Simon was hired to hunt Geiger back in 2022. Hitch teases a familiar but sharper Simon than readers last saw, while Frank calls the team-up less a finale than a new beginning. The book also introduces Organgrinder, a fresh villain described as bone-chilling even by Unnamed standards.
Variant covers from Ivan Reis, Danny Miki, Francis Portela, Brett Bean and contest winner Steven Defendini pack the racks when Radioactive Revolution #1 hits comic shops on Wednesday, February 10, 2027.
