Her husband was also a Bolingbrook police sergeant and his third wife had been found dead in a dry bathtub three years earlier, in a case the coroner’s jury called an accident. And an exhumation that changed the narrative. Drew Peterson is serving 38 years for Kathleen Savio’s murder, and 40 more for trying to have the prosecutor killed. He has never been charged in Stacy’s case.
