Investigators later stated they didn’t believe the case was connected to Satanism, but by then, the media had moved on. Many believe that Brandy’s “boyfriend” at the time may have had something to do with her murder, especially after being linked to another missing woman. To this day, Brandy Hutchins’ murder is unsolved. Her cousin, Julie, fights for justice and is a recipient of a Higher Hope grant.
