Vinegar Syndrome Pictures is proud to present our first wholly produced feature film, Night of the Vamp-Friars, directed by Kurtis M. Spieler (Re-Director of New York Ninja).
A group of friends in a punk rock band discover a hidden cemetery in the woods, where they accidentally raise a horde of undead friars. Shot entirely on 16mm film, Night of the Vamp-Friars is a loving tribute to the homegrown horror films made during the height of the video store era.
Official Selection and Closing Night Feature at the 2026 Chattanooga Film Festival • World Premiere.
Look for 35mm print and DCP screenings in your area, and a home video release later in 2026.
