An apartment block in Los Angeles is plunged into lockdown after a catastrophic infestation of venomous and deadly arachnids is triggered by a resident unwittingly harbouring an evil new breed.
As the fanged creatures multiply by the second, it’s up to building manager Serena (Matilda Lutz) to guide a band of misfit neighbours through wall-to-wall dread and do battle with the web-spinning colony as well as the fearful authorities trying to contain the eight-legged plague.
