The Good Guy Has One Month Left on the Shelf Before His Chapter Vanishes From Every Store
Time is running out to bring the killer doll home. Behaviour Interactive will pull Chucky, known in the Fog as The Good Guy, along with his Chapter and related cosmetics from Dead by Daylight’s in-game shop and all first-party storefronts on November 24 at 11 AM ET, according to GameSpot’s reporting. Ahead of the cutoff, the Chapter’s content goes on sale across every platform starting October 26.
Anyone who unlocks Chucky before the deadline keeps him for good, including the alternate Tiffany skin voiced by Jennifer Tilly. Owners can still level him up with Bloodpoints, earn his three Prestige cosmetics and perk charms, and receive quests tied to the character. His perks are sticking around too, but players who never pick up the Chapter will find them in the general pool under new names: Hex: Two Can Play becomes Hex: Eye For An Eye, Friends Til the End turns into One Track Mind, and Batteries Included is renamed Gaining Steam.
Behaviour hasn’t explained the reason behind the removal, though expiring license deals are the usual suspect. The doll joined the asymmetrical horror game in November 2023, and his exit follows a string of departures for licensed killers, including Pinhead from Hellraiser and Michael Myers from Halloween, whose map was also taken out of the game.
