Emmy® Award-winning Bang Zoom! Studios continues the Halloween-season rollout of its cinematic horror audio anthology The Strange Thing About…, with Episode 10, “The Strange Thing About the Garden,” now available on YouTube and podcast platforms. The season finale features the voices of James Cromwell (Succession, AHS: Asylum, The Green Mile), Keith David (American Fiction, Nope, The Thing) and Jackie Tohn (Nobody Wants This). They join a powerhouse voice ensemble that includes Michael Johnston (Obsession), Xolo Maridueña (Practical Magic 2, Cobra Kai), Graham McTavish (House of the Dragon), Mariel Hemingway, Ayumi Ito, Johnny Yong Bosch, Zach Aguilar, Robbie Daymond, Allegra Clark, and more.
In the spirit of classic anthology horror, The Strange Thing About… drops listeners into self-contained nightmares built around cinematic sound design, original music, veteran voice performances, and twist-driven storytelling. Each episode uses sound as its central engine, creating an immersive horror experience designed for listeners to turn off the lights, put on headphones, and sink directly into the story.
Episode 10, “The Strange Thing About the Garden,” premiered October 23 and continues the series’ run of unsettling, character-driven horror stories. In the season finale, the boundary between memory and reality begins to disappear in a haunting supernatural story about first love, growing old, and a place where time may have no meaning at all.

George Wilson (James Cromwell) is in his 90s, living alone in a fifth-floor walk-up in New York City and stubbornly refusing to admit that age is finally catching up with him. But when a mysterious golden light appears inside his kitchen pantry at midnight, George opens the door and discovers something impossible on the other side: a magnificent Japanese garden at sunset. And waiting somewhere within this magical garden is Miyoko (Ayumi Ito)… the young woman George loved a whole lifetime ago.
