After a Year and a Half of Updates, Kingsport’s Last Secrets Are Finally Open for Investigation
The wait for the complete version of Misterial Games’ cosmic horror adventure is over. The survival horror RPG has officially reached version 1.0 on Steam today, as announced by Fulqrum Publishing, closing out an Early Access run that began in April 2025.
Players take on the role of Jack Harrison as he digs into a thousand-year-old mystery in and around the town of Kingsport, where every bullet matters, sanity is a resource to be managed and the Outer Gods are never far away. The finished game lets players see Harrison’s story through to its end, and the launch build adds a new chapter, fresh puzzles, artifacts, weapons, enemies and a boss encounter on top of areas introduced during Early Access such as the House of Mists, Blood Forest and an expanded Brasko’s Mansion.
The team also promises better performance and stability, though the game runs on Unreal Engine features like Nanite and Lumen and still asks for a fairly capable PC. Early Access save files carry over, but the developers recommend starting a fresh playthrough to avoid technical hiccups. Optional extras arriving alongside the release include a digital artbook of nearly 200 pages and The Heretic’s Arsenal Pack, which adds an artifact and two melee weapons, with a Deluxe Edition bundle collecting everything.
