Hollow Girl Collected Edition Volume 7 – Everyone’s the Enemy: Collects volumes 19 to 21 (Face-Blind, Don’t Go Off Wandering, and I Am Everyone) – “Luke Cooper continues to cement his reputation as one of the most exciting creators on the independent scene today.” – Big Comic Page.
Face-Blind
Prosopagnosia – a neurological condition in which the afflicted can’t recognise faces. Mix in some paranoid schizophrenia and you get Ronald Ryan, a man who now only sees everyone with horribly gouged faces that resemble an old Hollow Girl mask. When Ryan goes on a violent rampage, Hannah – Hollow Girl’s copycat and sidekick – knows she’s going to have to put on the mask one last time to correct her deadliest mistake. Meanwhile, the original Hollow Girl – Katherine Harlow – is back, or at least her soulless body is. At last, the dead have their perfect vessel – their perfect Hollow Girl. And this one isn’t going to need a mask.
Don’t Go Off Wandering
The original Hollow Girl is back, and this time it’s more than just a name. With Hollow Girl soulless and catatonic, Hannah – the vigilante’s former sidekick – finds herself a carer rather than a fellow crimefighter, ironically so considering her recent past. And when the time finally comes to get to work, Hannah is sidelined – apparently surplus to requirements. But while Hollow Girl is out protecting a computer hacker from an army of gun-toting mercenaries sent after her by the amoral billionaire the hacker disgraced, Hannah decides to play with her own supernatural ability – astral projection. When you’ve spent the last couple of years mooning the spirit world, though, it’s probably not a good idea to leave yourself so vulnerable.
I Am Everyone
It’s Hollow Girl versus Hollow Girl as frustrations come to a head at last, leading to a bullet-laden battle between the two heroines. You’ve never seen a break-up as brutal as this! And if they can survive each other, then they’ll have to face The Creep – the sadistic serial strangler that Hannah failed to put down. It seems that the loathsome Father Skelton – Hollow Girl’s abusive creator – has a new killer in his employ, and he has his sights set on Hollow Girl. The Creep would dearly like to get his hands on Hannah first, though, and pay her back for disturbing his good work. And, in doing so, fulfil a deadly prophecy.
