TERROR FILMS RELEASING has teamed up with writer/director David Ryan Keith to bring his survival horror, “Savage Prey”, to streaming platforms worldwide.
Headlining the film is actress Marta Svetek, well known to gaming audiences for her voice performances as “Gregory,” “Roxanne Wolf,” and “Vanny” in the hugely popular Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise.
Svetek takes centre stage as Ava, a grieving mother who returns to the Scottish Highlands searching for answers after the mysterious disappearance of her son, only to find herself the target of a predator’s sadistic game. The film also stars Steve Weston, Hannaj Bang Bendz, and Chris Torres.
Keith had this to share about the making of the film:
“Savage Prey began with the idea of placing an ordinary person in an extraordinary situation and asking how far they would go when driven by grief, guilt and the belief that someone they love may still be out there. At its heart, the film is about a mother who refuses to let go, even when that determination begins to place her in terrible danger.
I wanted the film to work as both a tense survival thriller and a psychological horror story. The threat is not simply physical. Ava’s attacker understands her vulnerabilities and uses them against her, forcing her to question what is real, what she believes and how much she is prepared to sacrifice.
We wanted the environment [of the Scottish Highlands] to become part of the threat, surrounding Ava with open space while still making her feel completely trapped. Ultimately, I hope audiences are drawn into a relentless survival story, but also connect with the human journey beneath the horror: a woman confronting grief, trauma and the possibility that the truth she has been searching for may be more painful than she ever imagined.”
TFR will premiere Savage Prey across multiple platforms on November 13th, 2026, including Tubi, Chilling, The Roku Channel, Fandango at Home, and more. Check out the official poster and trailer, courtesy of Terror Films Releasing.
