Publisher Re-Teams With Behaviour Interactive To Explore The Origins Of One Of Dead By Daylight’s Most Iconic Killers

December 18th, 2025 – Revealed during Dead By Daylight’s Community Stream, Titan Comics has announced a brand-new comic book series created in partnership with Behaviour Interactive, expanding the universe of the smash-hit survival horror video game.
Written by Derek Fridolfs (Batman: Arkham City), with art by Dean Kotz (Black Hammer, The Savage Sword Of Conan) and colors by Allison Hu (Corvus), the new series delves into the chilling origins of one of Dead By Daylight’s original Killers: The Hillbilly. The story follows a rookie cop who uncovers the face of pure evil lurking behind the legend.
Arriving in comic shops and on digital platforms in April 2026, the launch trailer showcases Kotz and Hu’s atmospheric artwork and reveals one of the covers for Issue #1 by renowned artist Alex Horley (Conan The Barbarian, World Of Warcraft). Additional variant covers will be revealed in the coming months.

Titan Comics’ new Dead By Daylight: The Hillbilly series follows the acclaimed first volume — collected as Dead By Daylight Volume 1: The Legion — the first-ever graphic novel spin-off from the critically acclaimed video game.
