Two Brave Pups, One Haunted Mansion and a Friend Who Needs Rescuing
A haunted house adventure starring a pair of puppies is headed to just about every major platform next spring, according to Gematsu’s reporting. Developer and publisher Lazy Flock has dated Haunted Paws for May 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, and a demo is already live on both Switch systems.
The setup is simple: the dogs’ favorite human has been snatched by evil creatures and locked away inside a spooky mansion, and it’s up to two pups to get her back. Players build their own dog from a wide range of breeds, fur colors and markings, then dress it up with accessories before heading in to dig, sniff and bark their way through puzzles.
The game is built for two, with local play or online co-op where a partner can join for free through a Friend’s Pass. Lazy Flock pitches it as a mix of cute and creepy, and each monster in the mansion hides a dark backstory that players learn by beating it and setting it free.
