Featuring Academy Award-winner George Kennedy and packed full of gratuitous nudity and head-ripping action, the film is restored in 4K from its original camera negative and loaded with newly-produced bonus features.

In the small English town of Newton, a pharmaceutical company’s experiments with a new vaccine take a disastrous turn when a laboratory accident triggers an outbreak of a deadly virus. The overall-clad hemophiliac known as “The Bleeder” roams the abandoned estate of Byfors, blood pouring from his eyes. Hans Hatwig, legendary editor of Swedish pop magazines Poster and Okej, photographed bands himself and even got Gene Simmons from KISS to pose with a poster for The Bleeder in his mouth, fueling the rumor that Simmons played the lead character. The Bleeder is actually played by Åke Eriksson, one of Sweden’s best drummers, known from bands like Attack, Bedlam, and Wasa Express.
